Elective courses in literature and their cognitive potential

Abstract: The author proves that elective courses on the average a link are means of preprofile preparation of pupils: they allow to specify own ability to master humanitarian subjects at the higher level of complexity in the senior classes. The article tells about difficulties of elective employment on the mid-levels, and also a role of elective courses in the formation of a number of competencies. The author underlines necessity of the system approach for preprofile work construction.
