Abstract: In the article the author examines the peculiarities of human visual, audio, olfactory, tactile perception and nominating some objects and phenomenon by the human. The author gives the linguistic analysis of the story Four Days by V.M. Garshin and underlines the importance of nominative acts for study of the world around, especially in the new circumstances, unusual and extreme situations.
