The Current Events of a Literary Life – 2008

Abstract: The article represents a review of more appreciable events of the literary and cultural life of 2008. First of all the attention is paid to the most honorable literary prizes (''National Bestseller'', ''Russian Bookker'', ''Big Book''). Also the attention is paid to Moscow and St. Petersburg book saloon-fair and to the most resonant literary festivals, readings, conferences.
