Tsvetayeva’s essay “Captured Spirits”: phenomenon of “poetic prose”

Abstract: the authors consider Tsvetayeva’s essay “Captured Spirits” as a syntactically complex phenomenon – poetic prose. They focus their attention on poetic elements and principles, realized in the prose canvas of essay. They conclude how structurally unusual form of genre helps Tsvetayeva to create her own myth about Adrei Beli and about a poet in general.
