“Tenderness of the world”: the children in the work of Vladimir Nabokov

Abstract: independent children-characters are chosen and analysed in limits of extensive and various Vladimir Nabokov’s theme of childhood. Conclusions about functional child’s role in artistic world of Nabokov are drawn with novels «Glory», «Invitation on execution», «Camera obscura», «Bend sinister».
