Platonov’s characters in view of the “modern man” concept

Abstract: The author examines on of the non-studied philosophical ethic contexts of creating the image of a “modern man” by A. Platonov. The author implies the work by A.V. Lunacharski “The basics of positive ethic”, which Platonov could have been aware of. The author shows that the image of “all-workers home” , modeling the names of characters in the novel “Kotlovan” appear in the dialogue with the general Lunacharski’s concept.
