Odour Semiotics in Poetry of the Silver Age

Abstract: The article presents a review of N.A. Rogachyova's research Olfactory Space in Russian Poetry of the late XIXth - early XXth Centuries: Poetics Problems. The author focuses on analyzing the mechanism of translating non-verbal odour language into the language of poetry, ways of coding sensory and sensual human experience linguistically.
