Mythological symbolism of D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak's “Eastern Legends” and its connection with problems of the series

Abstract: The article deals with mythological symbolic of D. Mamin-Sibiryak’s “eastern legends”, that contributes to better comprehension of problems of the legend series. The author comes to the conclusion that by analyzing mythological symbolic of the legend series we can trace evolution of love topic in “eastern legends” that is in accordance with different stages of formation of the human civilization.
