Native and Non-native Languages in the Development of Early Childhood Bilingualism

Abstract: The author of the article describes the criteria for the definition of a native language, points out their value for the research into the development of early childhood bilingualism; specific features of the acquisition of native and non-native languages by bilingual children are also compared.
