Abstract: The article is devoted to landscapes and natural elements in poetry by Ural poet Vitaly Kalpidi. The multiplicity of natural elements points the importance of genre eclogue and its modifications in works by V. Kalpidi, impacts of the poets of the 18th century, Nikolay Zabolotsky, Osip Mandelstam. However, the origins of the poetic lead to metarealism: transformations of matter, mixing features of living and nonliving, single and plural; multiple simultaneous actions. Participation of person in general processes through physicality and through the ability to feel / comprehend what is happening, multiply reality is important to V. Kalpidi. Nature here is a kind of sign system, which a poetic consciousness operates.
