Abstract: The review examines the scientific monograph the doctor of Philology I. S. Yukhnova «The Problem of Communication and Poetics of Dialogue in The Prose by M. Yu. Lermontov». The article emphasizes the value of the observations and conclusions of the author about the poetics of dialogue in the works by Lermontov, promoting to the refinement and deepening of the existing representation about the mastership of Lermontov-writer and his contribution to the formation of the Russian psychological prose.
