Abstract: The article analyzes the monograph “Texts – Images – Communicates” by Jana
Sokolova. The monograph combines the methods of linguocognitology, Gestalt psychology
and discourse analysis to solve the problem of a combination of a text, an image and a communicate in their mono-code, semi-code and poly-code aspects.
