Postmodern dialogue of cultures: The image of Spain in D. Rubina's novel "The last boar from the forests of Pontevedr"

Abstract: This article is devoted to analysis of the image of Spain in the novel by D. Rubinа. The great significance in the analysis is paid to "music" and "visual" components in the image of Spain. The principle of carnival is regarded as one of the leading in the creation of imagery, besides the author investigates metaphorizing and appealing to the subjects of world culture, which allows to create a post-modern dialogue of cultures in the novel.
