Chekhov sub specie Poststructuralism

Abstract: In article are analyzed poststructuralist practice of studying of A. P.Chekhov's creativity and biography which directed on change of representation about personal image of the writer. The researcher concentrates attention to tactics connected with focusing of a sight on peripheral elements of text structures speaking about semiotics of scandal and aspiration to open and reveal mania and Chekhov's phobias. A.N.Neminushchy is compared traditionally developed representations about Chekhov's literary person and its new shape arising in works by A.P.Chudakov, Ju.A.Bychkov, M.N.Zolotonosov, D.Rejfild, E.Tolstaya, E.Levitina, E.Thompson. The basic directions of scandalous discourses connected with sexuality and also national and imperial questions. Thus weakness of a considerable part of the scientific argument and artificiality of scandalous interpretation of the known facts is convincingly proved.
