"Don''t blame me, god...". The analysis of "The prayer" (1829) of M.Y. Lermontov

Abstract: The article considers one of the early poems M. YU. Lermontov's «The Prayer» (1829), representing a creative rethinking of the Canon of the sacred genre. In the poem for the first time in the lyrics of the poet receives the most complete expression of the image of the lyrical hero, endowed with a complex «of Lermontov's man», which painfully comprehends of their relationship with God.
