Poetics of the Сycle “Childhood-49” by L. Ulitskaya

Abstract: Article is dedicated to review of poetics of the cycle “Childhood–49” by L. Ulitskaya due to the combination of reliability of the narration and aspiration to the poetics of Christmas story. Special attention is given to the system of images, details, chronotope and symbolism of the colors. The cycle is comprehended in the context of Ulitskaya’s works that allows to reveal author’s conception of the world and human.
