Soteriological Motifs in the Novels of V. Nabokov “Lolita” and E. Vodolazkin “Laurus”

Abstract: The article deals with soteriological motifs in the novels “Lolita” by V. Nabokov and “Laurus” by E. Vodolazkin. Considerable attention is paid to the structural analysis and central images of the novels. “Parallel passages” and common style techniques indicates the legacy of Nabokov’s tradition in Vodolazkin’s novel, that doesn’t exclude creative dialog on soteriology.
