Abstract: The article studies the phenomenon of women's prose of the end of the XX century. The analysis of the works by a number of authors (S. Vasilenko, Y. Tarasova, L. Ulitskaya) allows the researcher to describe the specific nature of Russian women's prose from the point of view of its creative philosophy, speaking about the degree of recognizing European feminist category. The contributor arrives at the conclusion that Russian women's prose rewrites Russian literature plot, turning to fundamental concepts and images which combine moral and aesthetic properties.
