"I Learn Kindness From People..." (Bard Song in the School Study)

Abstract: This article contains different approaches to the study of art song as a great literary and artistic phenomenon in the Russian culture of the second half of the 20th century. Methods, focused on the curriculum, presuppose the study of the cultural situation and the prerequisites of the formation of the phenomenon, as well as organizing of a large volume of material by identifying the leading genre and style trends. After that, several key creative personalities of poets, bards are singled out, the study of which requires focusing in the school curriculum: B. Okudzhava, A. Gorodnitsky, A. Dolsky, Vladimir Vysotsky, Alexander Galich. The conclusion contains information about the generality of pathos, as well as some elements of poetry that can help to make the conclusion about the unity of art song as a separate artistic tradition.
