Homo legens VS Homo ludens: the problem of diagnosis of the Russian prose of the 2000s

Abstract: The articles explores contemporary state of the Russian prose, gives a panorama of literary phenomena and at the same time tries to comprehend the underlying meaning of contemporary cultural practice regarding the sociology of literature. The author gives characteristics of current forms of interaction among an author, a mediator and a reader in today’s sociocultural situation based on the concept of creative game and tries to evaluate the risks of the depreciation of the belles-lettres literature. Special attention is given to literary author’s projects and demonstration of specific literary activities.
