Abstract: The present review includes three monographs of Bulgarian philologists. Reneta Bozhankova examines the position of Cyrillic script literature and Internet communication, methods and strategies of cultural heritage digitization, questions of netlore and cybermythology. Ludmil Dimitrov builds up a holistic view of Chekhov’s early dramaturgical works and analyzes the prerequisites that turned Chekhov into a global phenomenon. Iliana Chekova explores Old Russian princely hagiology and identifies Byzantine rhetorical context of a number of poetic images.
