Abstract: The article deals with methodological techniques that can be used by the teacher during the lesson vocabulary work of the Russian language. Memorization techniques by association is one of the productive methods. This technique has been studied in detail during the work of the creative team (director Zakharova T. A.) over an associative spelling dictionary. The idea of creating an associative dictionary has been proposed and implemented in the portal «Network of creative teachers». The work of the creative team was the publication of a dictionary with a multimedia application for students in grades 5—11 and placing it on the part of the electron portal. The teacher of the Russian language, putting the task to facilitate memorizing vocabulary words students can use in their work the whole dictionary and its component parts. Options for the creation and use in the classroom associative entries are described in the proposed materials.
