METHODOLOGICAL PROJECT OF MODERN PROSE LESSON IN SECONDARY SCHOOL: A STORY BY A. ETOEV «WHERE DOES THE CARROT RIVER FLOW»

Abstract: The methodological project of a lesson based on the story by A. Etoev is suggested. The peculiarity of the plot (the adventures of a character), the image system of a story, the associative background (motives of death, evil spirit, heat, mystery, fairy tale, Russian epic, myth, reference to the novel by Kaverin, poem by A. Tennison, etc.) are analyzed during the lesson. Personal results of studying the story are: realizing the importance of personal, historical, cultural memory; value of a homeland; organization of an active life stand — the desire to ask questions and searching for the answers. The lesson is organized using such strategy of «semantic reading» as prediction.
